DESCRIPTION:Can’t stay up ’til midnight on New Year’s Eve? You can still put on your dancing shoes and party during the day at Eugene Science Center! Join us for a family-friendly celebration of another orbit around the Sun. \nFeaturing: \n\nCount down to blast-off of our 2 ft tall scaled-to-size Apollo Little Joe II Rocket with an E30-4 composite fuel engine (modeled after the NASA spacecraft active in 1963-66).  Launching at Noon (dependent upon weather conditions).\nLaser Dance Party in the Planetarium following the rocket launch\nHands-on activities about the science of fireworks\nBe sure to check out our schedule of laser light shows running all day as well!
