But before the evening is over\, something goes wrong.  \nMonths later\, the case remains unsolved. Fortunately\, advances in forensic technology have allowed old evidence to be reexamined\, witnesses to be reinterviewed\, and forgotten clues to be brought back to light. \nAs one of the last people to encounter the victim\, you have been recruited to assist with the investigation in hopes of solving the case. \nScience Uncensored: Crime Lab combines interactive science exhibits\, immersive storytelling\, and hands-on forensic investigation into a one-of-a-kind adults-only experience at  Eugene Science Center.  \nAnalyze fingerprints\, toxicology reports\, digital records\, skeletal remains\, and other forensic clues as you work to reconstruct the events of that fateful night. As you interview suspects and examine the evidence\, you will separate the fact from the fiction as you build your case to uncover what really happened.  \nHave you ever watched shows like C.S.I. or Criminal Minds and thought “I could do that” or “Is that really how that works?” Now’s your chance to find out!  \nContent Advisory \n\nScience Uncensored: Crime Lab is an interactive forensic science experience where participants become part of a fictional cold-case investigation.\nThe event includes:\n\nThemes of homicide\, missing persons\, and criminal investigations\nDiscussions of toxicology\, alcohol use\, and prescription medication\nReplicas of human skeletal remains\nSimulated crime scene evidence\, including limited theatrical blood effects\nLoud sounds\, dark environments\, and special lighting effects when seated within the planetarium\n\nNo graphic gore\, realistic injury depictions\, physical touch\, or extreme horror elements are used.  \n\nAll criminal scenarios\, suspects\, and investigative materials are fictional and created for educational and entertainment purposes.\nParticipants may encounter actors portraying suspects\, witnesses\, and other characters. Some characters may provide incomplete\, misleading\, or conflicting information as part of the mystery experience.\nParticipation in interviews\, activities\, and investigations is always optional.
