DESCRIPTION:Friday\, October 25th\n2:00pm – 7:00pm\n  \nThis event showcases Eugene Science Center at its spookiest! We’ve got eerie experiments\, spooky science demonstrations\, and haunting Halloween fun. Be sure to try your hand at launching a pumpkin projectile with our giant trebuchet on the front lawn. \nWearing a costume is encouraged! \nFun for all ages. \nWhat’s happening where? When?\nOutside: \nFood Truck – I Scream for Waffles (with Fall menu specials)\nTrebuchet Pumpkin Launching: 2:30 – 5:00pm\, or until pumpkins run out \nPlanetarium: (tickets included with admission to event)\nHalloween Spooktacular Laser Show: 2:15\, 3:45\, 4:30 pm\nMind-blowing science demonstrations by University of Oregon’s Society of Physics Students: 3:00\, 5:15\, 6:00 pm \nPotions Lab:\nDry Ice Ghost Bubbles\nMake your own Atomic Glow Worms (and take them home)\nTest your daring and taste edible crickets and mealworms\nFrog Dissection Demos: 3:30\, 4:30\, 6:00 pm \nMad Scientist’s Lab:\nMake your own slime (and take it home)\nLive animals on display: ball python and rose-haired tarantula\n“Hair-raising” Electrostatic generator Demos: 3:00\, 4:00\, 5:00\, 6:00 pm \nExhibit Hall:\nPhoto Booth: Share your photos with us using #eugenesciencecenter\nEnjoy a seasonally decorated experience of our hall of fun\, engaging science exhibits! \n  \nPrice: $8 per person\, $7 for Seniors\, Free for Children ages 0-2.\nMuseums for All: Families with an EBT card receive half-off admission\nFREE for all Eugene Science Center Members \nSpecial Event pricing: please note no passes or coupons will be accepted \nThis event is followed by our regular Friday night laser show features for the month (tickets sold separately):\n7pm: Halloween Laser Spooktacular\n8pm: Laser Stranger Things\n9pm: Laser Floyd: The Wall
