No school day Workshops at Eugene Science center!
Enjoy the day off from school with science fun! These workshops are offered to Kindergarten-5th grade students when local schools are closed. Our staff educators lead fun and engaging STEAM activities for students when school isn’t in session.
Register for individual days to suit your family’s needs!
Daily Sessions: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Drop-off: 8:00 – 9:00am
Pick-up: 3:30 – 4:30pm
Cost per Session
Members: $70.00
Non-members: $75.00

November 23-25, 2026: Wind, Water, and Wheels (physics/renewable energy)
December 21-23: Prehistoric Pioneers (paleontology)
December 28-30, 2026: Zany Zoology
January 4, 2027: Colorful Chemistry
Our workshops are open to all children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. Snacks provided during breaks and participants will bring sack lunches. We love to take advantage of our outdoor environment so please dress for the weather!

Updated Cancellation Policy for No School day Workshops
This policy has been updated as of July 2026. Please review the new policy in its entirety.
Cancellations made at least 4 weeks prior to the start of a program are eligible for a 100% refund or credit, minus a $50 processing fee per session. Cancellations made 2 to 3 weeks prior are eligible for a 50% refund or credit. No refund or credit will be given if a cancellation is made less than 2 weeks before the start date of a program.
