Girl Scouts in Stem!
Our education team is so excited to introduce the Girl Scouts in STEM program here at Eugene Science Center where Girls Scouts of all ages can earn their STEM badges. Schedule us for a Saturday morning full of fun activities, crafts, and experiments which will all work to meet requirements for whatever badge you are hoping to achieve. At the end of the program session, a special viewing of one of our planetarium shows will be scheduled just for your troop. Bring your troop of Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes to the Eugene Science Center for a session of science exploration, critical thinking and learning through play and curiosity!
So far, the Girls Scouts in STEM program has been developed to help scouts earn their Space Exploration badges across all scout levels. However, our education team is happy to develop more programs to help scouts earn other STEM badges, as well.
Scheduling and Costs
Girl Scouts in STEM can be scheduled with our Programs Coordinator at [email protected]. These programs are typically scheduled on a Saturday morning from 9am to noon from September through May. However, there may be some flexibility among scheduling.
Scheduling is required at least one month prior to session.
Please see the table below for pricing. Payment for the program session is asked to be paid at least two weeks in advance via an electronic invoice. Troop Leaders are exempt from paying admission.
