Planetarium Upgrade, planetarium

Eugene Science Center’s planetarium uses state-of-the-art laser-phosphor technology! Explore new worlds as never before in an immersive 360 degree experience through live stargazing programs and exciting full-dome shows in ultra-bright, high-contrast, 4k resolution. Our planetarium’s seating capacity is 85.

Our audio system includes a T-Coil Hearing Loop System.

Interested in sponsoring a planetarium seat? Get an engraved plaque with your name or in honor/memory of a loved one.

All planetarium and laser shows start on time, so please allow for an early arrival to ensure that you are allowed into the presentation. For your safety, we do not allow admission or re-admission after the shows have started.

HEARING LOOP T-COIL SYSTEM

Eugene Science Center is proud to offer a state-of-the-art hearing loop system. To use the system, patrons can simply switch their devices to the T-Coil setting to enjoy clear, high quality sound from our planetarium system directly into their own hearing devices. For patrons without a device, they can borrow a loop receiver available in our planetarium.
