On March 16th, Eugene Science Center was forced to close to the public due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Because of this closure, we have lost crucial revenue associated with museum and planetarium admissions, camps, birthday parties, field trips, store purchases, facility rentals, outreach, and more. Closure during the last two weeks of March resulted in over $35,000 in lost revenue. We’re expecting a similar loss during April’s closure.
