Eugene Science Center’s planetarium was recently upgraded with new state-of-the-art, laser-phosphor technology! Explore new worlds as never before in an immersive 360 degree experience through live stargazing programs and exciting full-dome shows in ultra-bright, high-contrast, 4k resolution. All new seating, which expanded our capacity from 70 to 85, was also recently installed.
Our audio system includes a T-Coil Hearing Loop System.
Interested in sponsoring a planetarium seat? Get an engraved plaque with your name or in honor/memory of a loved one.
All planetarium and laser shows start on time, so please allow for an early arrival to ensure that you are allowed into the presentation. For your safety, we do not allow admission or re-admission after the shows have started. To accommodate the University of Oregon’s construction project, please add more than 5 minutes of travel time to ensure you arrive on time for Planetarium Shows.

HEARING LOOP T-COIL SYSTEM
Eugene Science Center is proud to offer a state-of-the-art hearing loop system. To use the system, patrons can simply switch their devices to the T-Coil setting to enjoy clear, high quality sound from our planetarium system directly into their own hearing devices. For patrons without a device, they can borrow a loop receiver available in our planetarium.
